Perianal abscess?: There are many possibilities, and you need an examination to determine which it is. A superficial skin abscess doesn't usually give high fevers. Of concern is the possibility of a deeper infection, such as a perianal or perirectal abscess, or other deep infections. Please do see the doctor and get evaluated right away.
