How long after herpes exposure does it usually take to start noticing and experiencing symptoms? oral vs genital?

2-14 days: Herpes symptoms can begin anywhere from 2 days to 14 days after exposure. The incubation period is the same for oral and genital herpes. Best wishes!

Varies: First point, you can become infected and infecious without ANY SYMPTOMS. And if you were to have symptoms, they start 3 to 7 days after exposure to begin, they peak about 3-5 days after that and can take a week or more to heal up. Usually most severe on first outbreak.
