A member asked:

Had protected sex, no ejaculation. believe my period is 1-2 days late. have been stressed, but this never happened. negative pregnancy test.pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely, but...: Of course it is possible to get pregnant after having sex. That is why a woman who has sex must be ready for an unintended pregnancy. However, it is very unlikely to happen, if having "protected sex" correctly, or having with "no ejaculation". If worried, a home pregnancy test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex, or 1 week after missing a period. In this case, that means wait another 5 days.
