Yeast?: STDs rarely cause urethral itching in men, no surprise standard STD tests are negative. If urethral discharge, consider nongonococcal urethritis (NGU), an STD usually caused by bacteria not detected with routine STD tests. If your diabetes is poorly controlled, maybe yeast (candida). Hard to imagine an allergic cause, or that it really is connected with diet soda. Keep working w/ your doctor.
