Anemia Fixable: 28 year old male asks Can mild/moderate anemia(iron deficiency) cause erectile/low libido problems in men?Possibly so. Iron deficiency anemia due to menstrual blood loss, is a leading cause of low libido in women. In male inherited anemias; Sickle cell/ Thalassemia, chronic illness/ blood loss and Poor nutrition could do same by causing Fatigue/weakness/Depression. Fixable by MD/ iron supplement

Not typically: Erectile dysfunction (ED) comes from any thing that can impair the blood vessels to relax appropriately. This includes medications, as well as chronic diseases like diabetes. ED is often an early indication of cardiovascular disease. Anemia would cause a decrease in oxygenation which in combination with above mentioned causes may be enough to trigger ED.
