I used tri sprintec for birth control, today my pharmacy switched me to tri previfem (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol). i mostly use it for acne and to regulate my period. is this going to affect it?

They are the SAME: If acne is controlled to your satisfaction, continue either one. If not , consider Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) (or generic equivalent). Addition of spironolactone will usually abolish any remaining acne.
