Sex: Condoms can protect from std but it is not 100 % fail proof.

Depends: If you have been treated with zithromycin 1 gm as a one-time dose, then it is ok. But if you are receiving 7 days of another antibiotic, wait until you complete the 7 days of therapy !....Please have him use a condom every time from now on. He should be treated as well before he engages in sex with you again !..

It is an STD: Well, chlamydia is transmitted sexually and so it will be passed back/forth until both are successfully treated--at the same time. So if it is only between the two and both are being treated simultaneously, preferably for the same duration. If having severe pain/symptoms, i recommend waiting until healed. Also, should test for other stds. Consult doc. Good luck.
