Yes: If you feel a lump there which is painful, could be a thrombosed hemorrhoid. This just means blood in the hemorrhoud clotted. Go see your surgeon. The simple fix is to cut it open, and drain the clot.

Yes: Hemorrhoids are anal cushions (blood vessels). Many of my patients complain of pressure from internal hemorrhoids. The lining of the anus inside doesn't have the same sensation as the outside. That is why we can treat in office without pain meds.
