Probably okay: You probably have what we call a hematocele. It's the fancy term for blood in the scrotum. It will likely continue to improve but i would not hesitate to call your urologist just to check in and ask.

Probable hematoma: Getting better is a good sign. Swelling is either due to a post-operative bleed (hematoma) or some trapped lymph or combination of both. You may have been too active after surgery. A post-operative compression dressing might have helped. Certainly wear jockey or boxer brief underpants for support, not boxers & consider compression lycra shorts under your pants.. Should resolve. Testis probably ok.

Weeks: A post-op hematoma after a hydrocele repair is one of the most common complications and is quite painful. It can take weeks to resolve and depends on its severity. Generalized inflammation is also common and can appear to be larger than the original hydrocele. Since you are improving slowly, most likely there is nothing to be concerned about. My condolences.
