A member asked:

I have small tiny bumps near my vagina and around my butt is it genital herpes or folliculitis? what is the difference please help

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely folliculitis: Herpes usually is very tender ulcers with swollen glands and often is not symmetric and occurs on one side, folliculitis is more like small pimples on areas where hair grows. If you think it is herpes then see your gyn for DX and treatment.
