Hymen : Membrane that can remain intact until penetrance ruptures, and bleeding is common. Usually it is just the first time. Perhaps since you are no sexually active, time to see a gynecologist, and have them inspect, evaluate and explain.

Blood=tissue injury: Bright red blood during or after intercourse means their is some amount of tissue injury.This could be tearing of a hymen (common) or injury to the vaginal walls.If this is a tiny amount (q-tip full) and no more & clears in between encounters it is likely not important.If there is a generous amount every time it is time to schedule a doc visit.
