Brown : Brown discharge is not typical for a yeast infection. It would not be safe to use an over the counter treatment as it could be another, serious infection. Please see your provider and have cultures taken. Vaginal infections can cause serious problems such as spread to the tubes and abdominal cavity. Please be seen immediately. If your doctor can't see you, or if you have fever, pain, or vomiting then you would have to go to the er.
