Yes, : Yes, it can. If you have not been tested for hpv you may wish to. It is a simple test done at the same time as a pap and visual examination of your vulva and vagina.

Or a dermatologist -- generally the most experienced and expert in warts management. Stay relaxed in the meantime: there are other kinds of genital area skin growths; and although nobody wants genital warts, in general they are an inconvenience, not an important health risk.
