A doctor has provided 1 answer

A common problem: Pcos is very common affecting 10-15% of reproductive aged women. Two non-fertility related health issues are weight gain and the risk of uterine cancer in women who fail to menstruate month after month. Weight issues can be addressed with diet, exercise and sometimes medicines like metformin. The uterine cancer risk is low with the pill or with monthly Progesterone or the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud.
