A member asked:

When you take oral provera (medroxyprogesterone) to regulate your period if you have pcos, will your period come on it's own if you don't take the medication next month?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: In some cases you might temporarily resume a normal period, but in other cases, you might need regular, cyclic Progesterone to induce a period. The use of Progesterone does not correct the underlying problem in pcos.
