It can be. : Recovery from the inflammation caused during a vasectomy can last a while. Recovery time could increase if there was any bleeding or hematoma formation. This usually resolves with time. You should watch out for increasing pain, swelling, redness, fever, or heat, which could signify an infection and should be evaluated and treated. Communicate with your urologist & follow symptoms closely.
