Can a vasectomy be reversed? is it possible to still extract sperm from a man after the vasectomy has been done?

Reverse vasectomy: In a few cases vasectomies can be reversed, but this is not common. See your urologist to find out if you are a candidate for this procedure.

Yes and yes: Vasectomy reversal is possible but success rate is not high. Semen extraction is also possible even if one has had a vasectomy.

Yes shouldnt need to: Vasectomies can be reversed. The success rate is very high in the the right hands. It requires microsurgical training that most urologists do not have. The success rates with experienced microsurgeons is over 90%! it is usually not covered by insurances (unlike the vasectomy) every case is different and needs to be evaluated individually. Please seek out expert advise.
