A 33-year-old member asked:

How long should breast self exams be done to ensure reproductive health?

Monthly: Breast self exams should be done the same time of month in the shower while standing. Check for lumps or irregular areas. Both breasts should feel similar. If you have fibrous breasts cut out the caffeine in your diet. Report any inconsistencies to your doctor and follow up with a mammagram and a sonogram of the spot.
