On depo-provera for 4.5 years, still no period and it has been 2 years. just had an ultrasound and they discovered abnormal amount of fluid in uterus. also, discovered that my cervix is closed over due to scar tissue from a surgery (leep) 2 years ago. th

See your doctor: You should discuss these findings with your doctor. You could reopen the cervix to drain the fluid, but, given the paucity of symptoms, that may not be necessary.

Hematometria: It's lucky you were on Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) if you had a stenotic (or closed) cervix. It sounds like you have an accumulation of old blood (menses) that can't exit out the cervix. If you had heavy prolonged menses, you might have had more pain, a more distended uterus, and more tubal spillage of endometrium. You would benefit from a D&C and tissue to pathology to evaluate for abnormal cells. Take care.
