Mostly yes: Since you were already on an antiviral more than likely the herpes sores will not show through also herpes is painful and not usually itchy.

Unlikely: If it does not blister first each time and No sexual genital contact, unlikely to be herpes. If a bump only, is more likely a follicular cyst.
