Probably herpes: Association of lesions with hairs is atypical for herpes, but your gyn's opinion on examination is more important. Were you tested for herpes and yeast? If herpes is suspected, you should have been started on treatment immediately with oral valacylovir or acyclovir. Waiting for a test result may be too late for it to help much, and the drugs are harmless. Discuss with your doctor.
