Many possibilities: Could be a dental or gum issue, could be a slight bleed from a small superficial vessel in your throat or back of your tongue. If you have been taking Aspirin or non steroidal antiinflammatory medication it can make a tiny amount of blood more significant. Out of 100 people i see with stories like yours i find only 1 or 2 with anything significant. I still would recommend you see an ENT doctor.

Periodontal Issue: According to your symptoms is possible your gums are bleeding due to gingivitis or periodontal disease. Plaque and tar accumulation irritates the gums leading to bleeding, sour taste , dry mouth. See your dentist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
