Depends: Depends on what the std is. Any unprotect sex can place you at risk of transmitting yeast, bacteria, viruses.....Also laboratory testing is not 100% just because you test negative doesn't always mean you are negative. There are false negative tests, where the testing says you are negative but you are not. Or you may not have enough of the std in your system for a test to detect it.
