Need history: A doctor would need to factor in the patient's past obstetrical and medical history to make a definitive decision. MTHFR Homozygotes should be treated with Lovenox (enoxaparin) or Heparin during pregnancy especially if they have an elevated fasting Homocysteine. If the Protein C was tested during pregnancy then the results are not reliable. If tested appropriately and it was low then treatment is indicated.

Protein C / MTHFR: Lovenox (enoxaparin) is the treatment and I rely on hematology but it seems that if you have the condition, they always start treatment.
