Herpes type blisters: Where are the blisters ? labia or leg? Leg it could be herpes zoster ( shingles) which is very painful. Check varicella IgG titers -which would be elevated. If on the labia could be herpes I (which you can get in the genital area) or herpes II. it takes 2-4 weeks after initial infection to develop IgM titers and >4 weeks to develop IgG. Check what type were ordered. F/U w/doc
