I tested positive for hsv2 on blood test, and had right goin lymph swollen from initial outbreak. everything was fine after, but still have right lymph groin pain sometimes, and can "feel" it. its been a year or two since i had the initial. go away?

You probably have only leftover discomfort of the previously involved lymph nodes. HSV2 almost never causes ongoing active infection, only recurrent outbreaks with genital blisters/sores. On average, outbreaks occur 3-6 times a year, but can be either more or less frequent. You can take daily valacyclovir or acyclovir to reduce outbreaks and lower the risk of transmission to partners

it is unusual for the gland;glands in the groin to persist so long after the infection. best is to get checked.
