Hematoma: This could be a collection of blood under the surface of the vulvovaginal tissue. Depending on how much birth trauma you had, this could also be an area of healing or granulation tissue. It will likely resolve. Make sure you have post partum follow-up with your doctor. You should also have your annual exam coming up in the next couple of months with your doctor. You can ask them then.
