A member asked:

What type of treatment would i need for mrsa and c.diff and how do i stop them spreading? what if i've kissed or had sex can the other get it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Antibiotics: MRSA is treated with Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) or clindamycin. C-diff is treated with Flagyl or vancomycin. Both are spread by direct contact - touching either the MRSA wound or c-diff infected poop.
