IC is hard to treat: My patients with IC say they have found useful recommendations at icnetwork.com and IC-help.com. Western medicine has not found any reliable method to treat this, and IC causes a lot of suffering that is difficult for others to understand, so even more frustrating for you. I had a UTI infection after sex a year ago, the UTI infection cleared after taking antibiotics, but I still get an ongoing raw burning sensation in vagina (although it doesnt burn when I pee) but burns every other time. Done tests, no diagnosis.
