I have been facinh recurrent uti attacks since last 1 year.it increases when i have sex. i have had tests n taken antibiotics like nitrofuraintoin n levofloxacin for around 2 months but now the symptoms are coming back.in the first tym organisam detected

Urinate after sex: the mechanics of sex will push the bacteria in the urethra into the bladder. if you don't urinate after sex the bacteria can grow in your bladder for hours and become well established in you bladder after a few hours. Another thing I would recommend is don't drink citrus juices. Cranberry juice is ok. ( not citrus )

See Urogynecologist: If you continue to have recurrent urinary tract infections despite appropriate cultures and prophylactic antibiotics, then I recommend seeing a urogynecologist for an examination and testing to determine the cause and appropriate treatment to precent recurrence. Take Care!
