Should ask surgeon: Your surgeon/urologist has an obligation to provide you with all post-operative advice & care. This is included for 3 months after day of surgery & included in global surgical fee. U should certainly have prescription for necessary pain medication. I usually provide prescription for Ativan, (lorazepam) especially 2B taken at night, to both reduce anxiety & erections. Also inactivity & an ice pack might help.
