Hello doctors, can untreated hypertension in young age lead to erectile dysfunction ?

Yes: Erectile function is a matter of plumbing eg blood flow. Anything that affects blood flow may eventually cause ED. However, so can many other medications. Since you can't do anything about the past, best to focus on present via exercise, nutrition & sleep. Keep in close contact w/your family doc who can review your medications for potential ED side effects. Also don't smoke or drink to excess.

HTN & ED.: Hypertension can lead to erectile dysfunction. Unfortunately, medications to treat hypertension can also lead to ED. You need to strategize well and perhaps,find some non-medical means to lower your blood pressure.
