Abnormal: If you are talking about stool incontinence that is always abnormal. Would suggest seeing your PCP ASAP. It can be anywhere from a neurologic condition, sphincter incompetence to a fistula, which would be a vicious tract from your rectum to the skin. You need a thorough exam and further recommendations based on findings.
