Viral pharyngitis: Viral illnesses will frequently cause mouth ulcers, and the fever is low grade. These are usually short course of illness, less than two weeks. The main other thing to rule out is sexually transmitted disease. Steroids are sometimes used to help with the discomfort, and it might not hurt to be tested for strep throat.

Sore throat, etc: Probably viral. See your Primary Care Physician.
