Treating What?: No. One dose of zithromax effectively treats chlamydia. If you are not better then something else is the problem. If you were not also treated for gonorrhea, then perhaps that is what you need next: Ceftriaxone to treat a possible co-infection. In many places one never treats just one of these infections alone they should be treated for both.
