Please provide some do's and don'ts on dealing with gonorrhea.

Ignore: Do tell your sexual partners of your condition. Do practice safe sex. Do take all meds as rx'd.

Ignore: Avoid fluoroquinolones given rising rates of antibiotic resistant gonorrhea.

Ignore: Get tested have partner/partners tested, they may not have symptoms treatment easy vs fallout.

Ignore: You can only get it from sex with someone else who has gonorrhea. Everything else is a myth.

Ignore: Discharge from the penis? Get screened for ALL STDs - not just gonorrhea!

Ignore: No Condom, No Sex! Choose your partner wisely! If you have pelvic pain and fever, see a doctor ASAP.

Ignore: Notify all contacts. Latex condoms, Periodic cultures for STDs.

Ignore: Do consider gonorrhea as a possible cause for a sore throat.

Do: Do get retested if after treatment, symptoms continue.

Ignore: Make sure that any/all sexual partners are treated. After treatment, get retested.

Ignore: Notify your partner(s). They need treat too or you can get reinfected.

Ignore: Do tell all your partners they need to be treated even if you aren't seeing them anymore.

Ignore: Get treated for both gonorrhea and chlamydia if you have gonorrhea.

Ignore: Gonorrhea is easily cured. See your Doc and get treated. Avoid sexual contact for 1 week after tx.

Ignore: Please use condoms with every sexual activity and also make sure get treated for chlamydia and partn.
