Gonorrhea: One recommended treatment is ceftriaxone 125 mg injected into the muscle in a single dose plus azithromycin 1 g orally in a single dose.

Shot of ROCEPHIN (ceftriaxone): We usually treat Gonorrhea with a shot of Rocephin (ceftriaxone) 250mgm.And since there is usually coexisting Chlamydia infection and that is treated as well with 1 gm single dose of Azithromycine or a course of Doxycycline.I prefer Azithromycine and give the shot and as them to take azithromycine in front of me The sexual partner should be treated and adviced to get treated for both as well
