A member asked:

Tested negative chlamydia & gonorrhea 9 &14weeks after unprotected intercourse mainly genitally with very very brief oral.tests were done vaginally,is there any risk of oral infection if other results have been negative? thanks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some STDs can be transmitted eg HPV thru oral sex no matter how brief. Vaginal tests dont include that. So there is a small chance - exactly how much depends on whether the person was infected and your body immune system
