A member asked:

Can a red meatus, tip of penis, be caused by bladder infection? it doesn't hurt on touch or itch, only burns on tip of my penis when peeing

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Penis Burning: Irritation in the male urinary tract can often cause burning that is felt at the tip of the penis. The common causes can include anything that can cause irritation to the prostate, bladder or urethra such as infection, passing a urinary tract stone or other trauma. A red meatus can sometimes indicate irritation, but is not a specific finding.
