Ive experienced spotting for 3 weeks and my period is late. I began being sexually active in May this year with only 1 partner. I want to go to a doctor to see if its an STD, but dont know how to tell my mom Im sexually actively. Any advice?

I got the nexplanon implant in May 2021, which stopped my periods. A few days ago I noticed I was spotting. My vaginal opening is also a bit itchy. Could this be from the implant? I am also sexually active with one person. Maybe an STD?
Yes, I meant from my last period. And my last period was around 2 weeks. I didn't notice if there was a gap, and no I didn't have any sexual encounters and I don't have STD's. So what would the spotting be? A "sign" of my period coming in 2 weeks? Thank y
