A member asked:

I have irregular period, mostly up to 40 days. last month, i became regular and only had 32 days to have my period. for this month, i have brown spotting and i think i already ovulate but i still have not gotten my period. not even sexually active?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
