Months: It may take several months. It is very distressing, but have faith. There is no 100% guarantee about something like this, but I have seen it resolve after that amount of time with drugs like letrozole.

About a week: If things aren't working after a week, look for anotehr cause (prolactinoma and hemochromatosis are two that get missed).
