Pudendal: Pudendal arises from s2- s4 roots. An l5-s1 disc mainly affects the s1 and also L5 roots. This would not result in pudendal nerve pain.

Yes: Herniated discs can push on nerve roots thus affecting nerves downstream. Recommend evaluation by neurosurgeon or orthopedic physician
