Hi I have hep c i just got lab results my ALT and AST are normal they was high what that means am i better?
My ALT is 140, AST is 40, and Bilirubin is 0.3. I haven't spoken with my doctor because the results came directly from the lab. What does it mean if you have high ALT, but normal AST? I'm worried.
Lab results ALT 44 , AST 50, both are indicated high, what does it mean and what can be done? I take metformin, lisinopril and simvastatin.

CMP lab. All results normal except AST was high at 70. Is that a problem?
