Genomes allergy: It is better to see your doctor to take a proper history and physical as well as a family history since genetic testing is not yet that advanced to that level in ordinary clinical practice. A total ige elevation is found in 90% of cases of significant true allergy and is a result of your genetics indicating that you are overproducing this immunoglobulin.
