A member asked:

I quit smoking but no cough?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

not a problem: Congratulations for quitting - this a great thing you have done for your health. Not sure how much you smoked, or how long, but quitting does help any changes in your upper airway to recover fully. Some smokers have a cough when they stop because the 'cilia' in the windpipe come back to life! if you have no problems after quitting, great! stay off for good :-).
