I bit the inside of my cheek. how do i get the swelling down quickly?

Cheek biting: About a week for cheek swelling to go down. But because, it is swollen it is easier to bite again. Cheek, lip tongue accidental biting is common. The most effective remedy is to put crush ice in you mouth right away to keep the swelling down. Take an over the counter pain anti-imflamatory drug like Motrin aleve, (naproxen) Aspirin as directed. Then be careful not to re-bite the area.
