Variable: Depending on your social group and its eating habits, junk food can have variable effects on your social life. If the people around you have no concern for their health, they may not value eating other types of foods and you might be "different" if you were eating more mindfully than others. Junk food can also make you gain weight, which can have other social painful effects such as isolation.
