If cream added: There is no lactose in coffee, so by itself it is not a problem. If you are lactose intolerant and you add cream or milk you introduce lactose & that may trigger symptoms, depending on the amount used. There are some people that are actually allergic to coffee, but that is separate from lactose intolerance.
