Caffeine may act as a stomach irritant, start by trying decaf coffee or tea to see if your symptoms are indeed related to caffeine.

One does not normally need coffee or tea to work. If you are used to taking them then try a substitute e.g. low calorie cola. Plain water is best. If your 'stomach issues 'persist pl. see a Gastroenterologist. Hope you feel better.
